ALWAYS GREAT service! Food is very palatable and they have NO problem creating a dish not on the menu! I had putanesca with chicken, beef and broccolini! Yum! LOVE going to Prego's!!

Very well done for a large group of guests, my main dish is steak, very rich flavour, for me is quite good.

Had a fantastic lunch at Prego Cucina Italiana today. They were quite busy with a few large groups, but the service was outstanding. The special of the day, yellow tuna with pasta, was perfectly prepared, presented and was very delicious. We have been there a number of times for lunch and dinner and they are consistently good. Highly recommended.

Love this place - my wife and I were wanting Italian the other night and we originally wanted to try something new. I couldn’t let that happen though - we had to go back to this spot. Great service always - I hope they never let that piece go.

I cant say enough for this place, Very authentic italian cuisine.Ambient is cozy with a romantic feel. Staff is Amazing!!Food is done to perfection,presentation and taste!! I love coming here..Highly reccomended😉

Excellent Italian food. We stopped in for a weekday lunch and the room was perfect for a work meeting.

Best place I've eaten at in Canada so far! Wine was super smooth and refreshing, salmon was spot on! No dryness, just so soft. Dessert was unbelievable! Tiramisu was heavenly! Great portion sizes, not at all overpriced. Only picky thing I didn't like was that my dessert plate was taken away before my partner had finished, but I'm yet to find somewhere in Canada that doesn't do that. Just my fussy table etiquette. Apart from that I could not fault the place! Will definitely be returning, Thanks Prego!

Delicious, authentic Italian. I'm pretty sure there was a Nona in the kitchen. The staff were also very knowledgeable and accommodating for food allergies.

Top notch meal. The restaurant has a wonderful ambiance and Max was a terrific host! We will return for sure.

One of the best and moist authentic Italian restaurants in Calgary in my opinion. I've been here both for corporate functions and personal functions and the food and service have always been extraordinary.Stopped in for dinner tonight, started with orangini and bruchetta as appetizers. Ordered the Pollo Parmigiana for myself, while my companions had the Filelitto Gorgonzola and the Salmon Capri. All dishes were cooked perfectly enhancing our dinning experience. We finished dinner with their bailey's cheese cake with a chocolate crust and the Tirrimisu. Out dinner was just fabulous. Service was great as usual, very professional and prompt service. Our server came back many times to ensure we were fine which made for a pleasant dinning experience.

Friendly staff, generous portions, nice atmosphere, and delicious food. We stopped in for a light meal, and ended up with the caprese salad (creatively done with capers) and dessert. The white chocolate lemon cheesecake was soft and wonderfully flavorful ... one of the best cheesecakes I have ever tasted. The "chocolate pate" (sort of frozen mousse) was awesome too.

I took my wife for Valentines dinner and it was fabulous! We have eaten here a couple of times before and the food and service are superb! It really is a hidden gem for Italian food and a nice evening out!

First off, the service was superb. I rarely experience one of those truly professional waiters. I had to figure he's been doing it all his life, and every action he took, every word he spoke was perfectly performed, charming, and yet not invasive.I had lunch, the ravioli with mushroom sauce, I thought it was quite good, but not great. Uneven salting and also a modestly unpleasant taste that presented itself randomly. Among my companions, a seafood pasta dish seemed to be the winner. Looked (and apparently tasted) superb.

Good italian food in Calgary. 2nd floor Mall location is a bit tired, but restaurant was good. I had the chicken marsela special and it was very good — a sweeter creamier version than typical but was tasty nonetheless. Deserts were awesome too - cheesecake and tiramisu. Yes, I have a sweet tooth and Prego delivered wonderfully. Our waiter was very friendly, attentive and eve added a little humor. Definitely worthwhile. Prices were a little high but in the end worth it for quality itaian food. 10 minute walk feom the Westin. I will return next visit to Calgary. Orders of magnitude better than Spaghetti Warehouse!

This little jewel in EauClaire Market was a very pleasant surprise, the decor is traditional Italian and upscale but not pretentious. The service and detail is amazing. Food options were diverse and tasted very good. The Caesar salad was excellent and the glass of wine selection diverse. Definitely on my return list. The best part is not overpriced for the overall quality and value.

Amazing from start to finish. This place is a hidden gem. The environment and atmosphere was so friendly and warm. Our waiter was so inviting, confident, knowledgeable and paid great attention to our certain dietary allergies. When my boyfriend couldn’t decide on two plates, our waiter decided to surprise him. When we got our food, they put half of each plate he couldn’t decide on as his meal. That is so hard to come by in a restaurant these days and we were thrilled. Can’t wait to keep coming back.

Great place for a date. The chicken parmigiana is excellent. Prices were good and food was great. I wish they had regular pasta like lasagna and spaghetti with meat sauce that doesn't have pork but all the fancy italian places only have weird stuff so still a 5 star review. Staff was great.

I had a nice solo dinner here while staying for work. The staff were very attentive, and delivered my food quick and got me on my way. Nice meal, filling and a good price.

Prego is a gem in Eau Claire! The food is Awesome and The service is Great! They are very friendly and make you feel as if you have been going there for years. The food is the star of the show and the flavors are undeniably well developed. My goal is to try everything on their menu. So far everything has been great but the risotto is my favorite to this point.

Went here for a work related anniversary celebration, the food is excellent for the price. Recommended!

Prego provided fantastic service and food. They were quick to greet my family of four when we came in, provided water without asking and allowed my kids to split a full order as one dish on two plates. I have nothing but good things to say about our experience here - highly recommended. The restaurant may be more suited for small business events or couples, but if you have well behaved kids it makes for a nice family dinner spot as well!

Another great meal! My wife and I have been going to this restaurant for 25 years. I’ve never had poor service or a bad meal. The owner remembers me every time I return. You won’t regret your decision to give it a try.

I was initially suspicious when I read the menu to find Arancini spelled Orangini. Traditional Italian it most definitely is not.That said, many cuisines change to meet local tastes (for example, pasta is never served as a side dish in Italy, and chicken is traditionally never served with pasta), and this was definitely a Canadian take on Italian. This is not to says that it wasn't good, but you would not see dishes like this in Italy. The service was very good, and the portions where huge.

Prego deserves more than 5 stars! Had an amazing dinner here last week. Wine recommendation was delicious, portions and quality of food was next level and the staff are THE BEST in the city. Go here if you are wondering what quality service looks like. We have never had a better service experience. You will not be disappointed! Try the carbonara.

Great service. The cream pasta felt a little heavy for me but my friend had the Tuna pasta, and it was unbelievable apparently. I recommend it.

Service was great and the decor is fantastic, it’s such a shame that I can’t say the same for the food. It wasn’t terrible but the pasta was surprisingly mediocre, and it’s comparable to a frozen dinner you get at Costco. I was a little disappointed I don’t know what else to say, either this place has mediocre food or Costco sells some really good frozen dinners, I don’t know honestly, you be the judge. Either way I recommend a try, but set your expectations low if you want to enjoy your food.

not sure what to rate at.Meal was amazing, service was great. BUT my credit card information was stolen at this location. had a huge foreign charge get on my credit card. so be careful!!

Friend and I tried the calamari and arancini balls. We were both very hungry and neither of us finished the appetizers. Both dishes were so bland, we didn't bother to get anything else. The calamari tasted fishy. I hate leaving negative reviews, but it was shockingly bad. Waitstaff was professional, but uncaring. I trust that their entrees must be better, given the wealth of positive reviews. But, I won't be back.

Service was excellent, food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Pasta carbonara had plenty of bacon and flavour, large portion or pasta but I'm happy to have leftovers. Will definitely be back!
